Grind or crush the seeds in a mortar. Powdered milk thistle can also be added to soups, vegetable dishes, muesli, dairy products (yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese), breads, and fruit smoothies.
It can also be used as a tea: pour 1 cup of hot water over 1 teaspoon of powder and slowly bring to a boil. Cover and simmer gently for about 5-10 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes, then strain. Drink the infused liquid in three portions throughout the day.
It is recommended to consume up to 2 teaspoons of milk thistle daily.
