- Guerlain's Eau de Shalimar women's perfume can be called one of the most successful in the perfume house's history. First created in 1925.
In 2008, an updated, lighter version of the classic fragrance of the same name was released. The fragrance clearly belongs to the oriental category, despite its initial fresh notes of Corsican orange, bergamot, and lime.
These notes greet us with freshness only at the very beginning, then slowly transform into dense aromas of Nepalese rose and lush, intoxicating jasmine, which prepare us to immerse ourselves in the base notes of sweet vanilla, iris, and resins, enveloping us in their delicate charm.
The new version also received new packaging; the classic hemispherical clear glass bottle has been given a few new curves and a smoother, more streamlined shape.
Fragrance Notes:
- Top Notes: Corsican Orange, Bergamot, Lime
- Heart Notes: Nepalese Rose, Jasmine
- Base Notes: Vanilla, Iris, Resins
